the jewish holidays are upon us. there's quite a bit of food and drink plus all the various get togethers.

it's pretty exciting so far. we had company over on sunday and that went well.

upsetting

there's nothing like being told your life insurance policy request is under review due to answers you gave honestly.

back on the range

fishing was fun but i didn't catch anything. my friends steve and moshe caught some albicore and some yellowfin. the yellowfin was tasty. i fried it in a marinade of lemon juice, soy sauce, and mayo. quite yummy. i should have brioled it but i didn't get the chance.

work's been crazy. we're having voice call quality issues from colorado to LA and our network folks are cranking on it. our accounting glitches are gone but we're still be watchful.

molly's school is still a disaster. she's still having seperation anxiety attacks every day. she'll cry for hours after batya leaves her. this might go on for a while but i doubt the school will let it go on for much longer. we'll see what the strategy is going to be moving forward.

i've got to clean up the office at home, file our alarm system permit papers, check in on our court case, and make sure our new health care is taken by all our doctors. also i have to clean up the back yard, water, and throw away all of our old boxes, then i have to put in an a/c into molly's room, put up some cabinents, repalce some child safety locks, and build a shelf for molly's room. but first i have to buy a new hammer. my old one got lost.

back to work...

update

i was sick yesterday with a 101 fever for most of the afternoon and evening. wasn't very fun. i still have little apitite and have a bit of sinus pressure.

molly started school yesterday. it's from 8:30 to 12:15 PM and it costs $6500. for that money we got molly wandering the hall for 8 minutes without anyone noticing except for my wife. batya kept an eye on her while she waited for someone to notice. the teacher and aid never noticed so batya returned her to the classroom. the class was disorganized and very chaotic. we'll give it a week to see if it improves.

the old drill through the head bit

drill through the head

The construction worker lost an eye but survived a freak accident without brain damage after falling from a ladder and onto an 18-inch-long drill bit that impaled his skull.
